Isle of Man

The magical Isle of Man lies halfway between England and Ireland in the Irish Sea, and is rich in picturesque harbours and infamous for the Isle of Man TT motorcycle race.

Anyone who enjoys a bit of a splash should visit the island to sample the enormous variety of sailing available from novice to experienced sailors, from the comparative calm of Douglas and Ramsey to the rugged coastlines of the north and south of the island. There is also an active dinghy racing scene with regular races on the islands reservoirs.

Wildlife Spotting

Sailing offers a serene opportunity to travel around the Isle of Man while experiencing the spectacular coastline, harbours (Douglas, Ramsey, Peel, Laxey, Port St Mary, Port Erin and Castletown) and marine life in all its glory. Along your journey you may be lucky enough to spot some of the animals which call Manx waters home including dolphins, basking sharks and seals. Don’t forget your binoculars!
