With a subtropical feel, this picturesque island provides ample opportunity for a whole host of water based activities. Rapidly becoming a destination that attracts top sporting events and competitors you will find a wide range of water sports activities to indulge in.

Windsurfing is a popular sport for long boarder and short boarders, the most popular bays for high winds are Cobo, Grandes Rocques, Ladies Bay and Pembroke. You can also find qualified instructors are also available at Cobo and Ladies Bay as well as a water sports centre in Pembroke Bay.

Sailing is also highly popular in Guernsey from large scale yachts to dinghy sailing. Training is provided by the Guernsey Yacht Club at Castle Emplacement. The two yacht clubs provide excellent club house facilities and organise races throughout the summer months.

Canoeing is another of the thrilling water sports which you can try here and takes place in several different bays depending upon the sea conditions.
